Visit: tinyurl.com for more pet stories — A new technique for fighting the crippling effects of severe hip dysplasia is catching the attention of many large breed dog owners. Anne Marie Ogle of Napanoch, the owner of Dasha, a 9 year-old German Shepherd, hopes stem cell therapy will improve her pet’s quality of life. Two vets from Rondout Valley Veterinary Associates in Kerhonkson studied up on the process offered by a California-based company called Vet-Stem.
Before doing the $2500 , try Stem Tech’s STEM ENHANCE for dogs. I would start with 4 per day, then after 2 to 3 days , add another one [2 to 6 more ,at one every other day] when they are much better, stay on this for 3 wks, when doing very well ,cut back 1/3 and use this amo. 2 mos, then cut back another 1/3 and use this as a maintence amount. Parasites are also a big problem for pets & people alike. Dr H Clark recomends making a tea of parsley [$1. ] put in ice tray, put one in H2O daily
yeah, she wa able to run like a 2 year old in a matter of 4 months… but she got out of the gate and ran like a two year old in front of a truck! true storie, she is no more
It be a miracle…my dog almost has the same thing wrong with him. Thy prayers have been answered! I must attempt to convince my parents to take upon this idea at once.
any updates on her progress a year later?
Soon, people will get medical treatment as good as this lovely dog. Great to see
Very good. I would like to know how many injections her took?
Hi, this is so wonderful; I am considering this for my 10yr old Weimaraner who was left with a lot of arthritus after TPLO surgery. How is Dasha? Did you have the procedure done again this year? Blessings….
great
how much would this cost?
This is great news, now if our governments would only smarten up and approve this adult stem cell therapy for humans, my poor ostheo-arthritic knee would feel a lot better.
Thanks for posting this video, and I hope Dasha is still doing good.
Dasha has had no side effects. She had the procedure done in March 2008.
Can you let us know if she has had any side effects from the treatment? How long has it been since she received the stem cell therapy?
How much would this procedure typically cost?
Dasha’s is off pain meds and has climbed the stairs several times. I do not let her climb the stairs too much as only her hips were treated with the stem cell therapy. She is so active but I try to keep her in a routine. In February or March 2009, we have scheduled another procedure to include her other joints that may have some arthritis. Remember, only the joints treated show improvement. I wish you much success with your dog and thank you for asking about Dasha.
Please let me know how Dasha is doing. my dog is facing the same but is 12
Great video !! on our Cellmedicine channel we talk about the science behind this type of stem cell therapy
